THE BIG HAND (THEORY) OF CREATION is a loving hand forming us with great skill. All is beautiful to Him, though to us may be curious. We are not to judge, but to preserve—so the Lord says.Rather than look to fossils, prehistoric
remains, nebulae or an exploding star, in seeking to understand God's
creative way (thru the Son—John 1:3), I prefer to look at God's own
signature in the sky: the Rainbow. Any one of His creatures is a wonderful
living repository of basic shapes formed to function as well as have
beauty. My topmost bird is light blue, the color of the spectacular
environment in which they fly. And that of the steer is brownish-tan, for
where they stand grazing and roam about. The sun shines through and permits His
determining what colors are best for beauty as well as an individual
attraction; for, mindful He is that these will be reproducing. But color
as camouflage (French, for “disguise”) is also His aim so that longevity
is assured. The hand is His hand, spiritual and covered with dark cloud (1
Kings 8); hence the dark blue and purple shown. But in taking on humanity
directly as He did with Jesus Christ, flesh satisfies that description.
The exquisite nature of the tabernacle is exhibited—as Solomon rightly
observed there is grandness in the Lord's true dwelling—and a tent door
is pulled open so that we may see. Mankind’s soaring music in grand
composition only hints at His glory; these colors infer His wonderful
variegating brilliance. Take note, there are metallic gold, silver and
copper that, separate at the roof, are free to turn, and
triangular/"trinity"-shaped caps are atop supporting poles running
throughout. Reality colors—“virtue”, light blue and pink, (heavenliness in
human form) useful to us, if you will—emanate to us.
Above all, literally, and shown here, far right, is a single drop of blood
representing the Blood of Christ slain (Revelation 13:8, as John aptly
describes it for us) from the foundation of the world. And so the forms of
His animals and all creatures take life and have to do with blood, for the
life is in the blood (Leviticus 17). Christ's eventual atonement for us has been
The Purpose of God’s Creating All!
No, we His creatures are not made to cower but to remain in silence and in
awe before Him (Psalm 46:10), as the stars do in their beauty. At other
times it is appropriate to bring our audible praise. We are amazingly and
wonderfully made, and we know we are to give our creator praise (Psalm
139:14 after New Century Version, 1987) and Psalm 150.6—“Let everything
that breathes praise the Lord! Hallelujah.”
We are not a “Shot in the dark” (Big Bang Theory), we are all (stars,
whales, humans, fleas) His divine grand design, pathos, and civil creation!
